It's been a couple of weeks since my boyfriend of 2 yrs broke up with me. I'm trying to deal with it, and tell myself that time heals all wounds but it's really hard. Not ony was he a boyfriend, but he was my best friend. We were such a huge part of each other's lives, and now we barely talk. He sends me texts and says he misses me..but it all comes back to the same thing. He just doesn't think we are meant to be. Will I get over this..what should I do? On top of this, is the fear that I will never feel this way about someone again.

I am not a teenager by the way. I am an adult with real relationship questions. Thanks to all of the understanding people out there who leave real answers.

Its really fun....I'm going through the same thing myself...my girlfriend of 2 yrs called it off 3 days ago and I'm suck in the same predicament. I absolutely can relate to you because I'm afraid that I won't ever find someone that I care and love. Not to mention she was my first girlfriend. To make it worse she tells me that she doesn't really see a future with me even though she tells me she loves me. Anyways I just want to tell you that its ok and hopefully both of us will be ok in the future. I wish you luck and I feel your pain. Oh, and the Dr. Steve answer is not fair... I'm not a teenager and I'm going through this so to say that "its a meaningless relationship" is cruel.

Maybe because I have a relationship that was like that in the beginning but turned out to be a nightmare in the end i can say this...girl dont regret it...meet other people...keep chatting and surfing the net to meet other guys...listen girl...there's so much you can do with your life. You should be lucky. i would give anything to be single right now...let some other woman worry about the possibility of cheating, leaving dirty sock on the couch etc. Go out have a grand time...the sky is the limit. My God! I sound anti-men.

Jeez! I am sick of these teenage "does he like me" "what do I do" questions.

These are TEMPORARY little relationships that will be meaningless when you look back on it later in life (stupid even). Get over yourself and your insecurities. Are all teenagers afraid of each other? You all seem to care WAY TOO MUCH about WHAT OTHER PEOPLE think about you. When you are a real grown-up, you care less and have REAL relationships.

Thank you

well why do you torture your selves just to find out how much you care about each other. the fact is you were meant to be together, you just cant believe its happening. somethings are just too good to be true.
