its your wedding, you can have it anyway you want. I have 15 year old twins too, I know it might seem better that they are 15 but I have decided that they will be 2 of my brides-maids and my 11 yr old will be my Jr. Bride. maybe that's what your twins can be, Jr. brides. I'm going to have my 11 yr old ware white like me and my made-of-honor will be my fiance's 25 yr old.

Not if they are the only bridesmaids. I went to a wedding last week where the brides 7 year old daughter and 7 year old niece were her only bridesmaids, and it was very sweet.

I think it would look a little odd if you also have adult bridesmaids, but it would then be appropriate to have them as flowergirls.

At the end of the day though, it's your day. You find your own mix between what's traditional, and what makes you happy.

Congratulations and best wishes!

Why would it be strange? It is your wedding, and bridesmaids are supposed to be ppl that you care about that are special to you...and your daughters most deffinately should be part of that don't you think? Although flower girls may seem more appropriate for their age, but I have seen young bridesmaids..depends really on what you want..either way I am sure you would feel fulfilled knowing they have played a roll in making your wedding a special occasion....and them being part of the special day also signifies a new beginning for all of you! Good Luck!

It might be, because they would have to be paired up with someone, and bridesmaids help plan your shower and bachlorette party:). It is your day, so you should have whoever you want in your wedding, but maybe make them Jr. bridesmaids or flower girls, five is a little to young for them to be bridesmaids.

Not at all! It would be quite cute--just make sure that you have someone to help get them down the aisle--we had to do that at our wedding so that the kids wouldn't wander off! When my sister was married, she married a man with a child from a previous marriage, and they added a lot of touches that included her in the ceremony--including with lighting a candle together and they gave her a necklace at the ceremony. It was really cute and I think it made her feel special--she had just turned 6 at the time.

I would think no. It is your wedding and a special day for them too. For my wedding we both have one daughter so instead of flower girls they are both ring bearers. This way they both get to be included and neither one liked the idea of being a flower girl. I think your daughter's would love the chance to dress up and help celebrate a wonderful day.

Your daughters should definitely be in your wedding. Usually they would be flower girls but it's your wedding, they can be your bridesmaids if you want. However, I wouldn't pair them with grown men, that would be weird.

I wouldn't. Kids usually blow it when it comes to being flower girls etc -- most of the time end up crying, refusing to go down the aisle, going down the aisle then leaving and running to a relative in the audience. Plus they steal the show, everyone is watching them.

It's YOUR wedding. You do what you want! You wear what you want, invite who you want, eat what you want, dance to the music YOU want, and you have whomever YOU WANT to be your bridesmaids! If those are your right-hand girls, then that's who's your bridesmaids! It sounds like you're a lovely mother! Congratulations!

The only strange Thing is probably the Wedding itself!
