A housewife? I think in the old days they used to call her homemaker but not anymore. it all depends on what she does while she is at home.

If she is taking care of children she is a Mother.

If she cleans the house, she is a Maid for no pay.

If she is in this site, then she is a Cool, Cool Lady! Go Girl!
