Experience is what you get in life when you don't get what you want. As such it makes you even more qualified to offer advice to others here. Right now you are in a kind of shock whilst your mind assimilates what has happened, comes to terms with it and makes some sense of it. When that process is finished you will be a lot wiser.
As for this girl, do not be too sad - sounds like she never was the person you fell for, in which case, what have you lost but an illusion?
If you are feeling at rockbottom, take comfort in the knowledge that there is only way to go from here - UP!
Hope this helps.

You give no detail as to what has happened to shatter your faith here! However, if the younger woman has really hurt you, I suggest you simply treat it as a learning curve, toughen yourself up and go and find happiness with someone else .... possibly not so young .... not all woman are the same I can assure you. And believe me, there are plenty more fish in the sea! Take heart in the fact that your experience is far from unique and this woman will probably do it again and again until someone bites back! Simply put, move on mate! You can do it!

Dear dear, the most important lessons that we learn are the ones that pain us the most. You are a sensible person, however, when love calls all sensibility goes out the window. You have learned now that this type of girl is not for you, so if and when it happens again with someone like her, the red flags will go up to warn you. Don't give up there is someone out there for you. You just need to heal. No, you are not stupid. You are just learning a lesson.

You are not clear as to what happened with this young lady - did she lie to you?
Life is always a gamble, and it is very hard to trust people whether they are our age, or younger, or sometimes even older.
If you feel that you were gullible with this young lady, then you need to change that aspect of your life...what? did she tell you everything you wanted to hear? Did she massage your ego?
Sometimes when something is too good you have to approach it cautiously until you are sure that it - or she - is sincere.
We are all humans and there are some who are quite cunning at conning people - so at least you've had this experience and you can watch out in case this happens again.
Don't be so hard on yourself - just learn the valuable life lessons so you don't fall into her trap again.
Good Luck!

regrettably it truly is Louisiana. Lived there for 2 a million/2 yrs. My guy is black and for instance: Our 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. old became taking section in out the front and became hit through a motor vehicle crammed w/ youthful white young ones, had 4 adults and three young ones in a Sentra. The law enforcement officials got here and in simple terms sighted the motive force and allow them bypass. Then grew to develop into to my husband and instructed him that because he became hollering and telling them to get out of the vehicle he became being sighted for "basic Assult" even even if he in no way touched them. Made him ought to omit paintings for a case that became dropped. yet, what's gloomy about this tale re: Jenna 6, if those were blacks that did what the whites did and the whites beat them up, doubt that that they had get an same sentences. tried homicide, come on! If some thing, misdemeanor assult. yet existence for tried homicide?? B.S. So are those white young ones getting charged w/ racial crimes/hate crimes for the nuses?? Nope! Idiotic criminal device.

I think you just have what we all have emotions and feelings and if you think thats hard to understand just think of this not everyone can be trusted not everyone can trust each other, now adays we don't know where the trust begins and where it ends the only thing you can do is have faith that nothing is being done behind your back and that the love is there to keep you guys together........:) I hope this helps

Live and learn. If you learn something from the experience then it wasnt a waste. Dont be so hard on yourself. Life is all about experiences, good and bad, and with out the bad ones to compare it to, how would you know if it was a good one? Just be more caucious next time, and dont close your self off to new experiences.

Well trusting someone doesn't really make you stupid...naive maybe...then again maybe not...most people if not all people have trusted people who let them down. You didn't really clue us in on what the problem was so it is hard to be more specific....But as that wise man Gomer Pyle once said...(although he got it from somewhere else no doubt) Fooled me once shame on you fooled me twice shame on me....Good luck to you on whatever your problem may be and don't let it ruin your trust in everyone.

Lust, passion and love can disarm any man. You can tell yourself that you've learned from your mistake but if the right woman comes along you'll do it all over again.
Don't worry about it though, your just a man like the rest of us.

Don't be too hard on yourself, it happens to most of us sooner or later in some way.
There is an old saying: A SUCKER IS BORN EVERY MINUTE.
At least you know now and will think twice the next time
Hope you didn't get taken too badly.
