wear you hair up (it protects it from the environment)
get it trimmed on a regular basis (no trims lead to ratty ends and lots of splitting/breakage)
use a satin pillowcase
use a boar bristle brush
do final rinse with distilled water
do not shampoo daily
avoid metal hair accessories

i have only known of 2 ppl who has ever heard of this one but if u know of somebody who has any extra birth control pills or if u have any. take some and crush them into a powder and pour into your shampoo. birth control pills are nothing but women hormones for the most part anyways. the birth control pills in your shampoo goes directly into your scalp and your hair will grow like u wouldn't believe. also this will work on a man or woman with thinning hair. the hormones stimulate the hair follicles.
if you don't have birth control pills. go to any veternarian store and purchase a bottle of horse mane shampoo. this is the shampoo people wash the manes of their show horses with and it will grow your hair with fast results as well. now more and more stores are stocking horse mane shampoo right along side of their regular shampoo's and it is price cheaper than the fancy salon style shampoos. this is the god honest truth.
