I am without a doubt the most creative and inspired late at night hyped up on caffeine listening to strange music, stereotypical maybe... but it's true

This works for me. I set a timer and tell myself I only have to paint for 5 or 10 minutes then if I still don't want to paint, I'll do something else. 100% of the time I am in the mood by the time my timer goes off.
This method works for house cleaning too.

Being an artist is work. Most people who have a job work whether or not they feel like it. Keep a journal/sketch book to record your ideas when you have them. The rest of the time should be spent working. If you really can't put brush to canvas, then stretch and prime new ones. Clean up your studio. Make slides. Take your work around to galleries. Enter shows. There is a lot more to being an artist than waiting around for a "mood".

If you're inspired then i guess u would really put yourself to paint or whenever a good subject comes along you can do it too.Sceneries are a nice reference to use, even the things around your house like the flower vase, plastic fruits etc.

When I need inspiration I go to deviantart.com, I tend to get inspired by looking at what other people are producing. Not that I take their ideas, I use my own. I just mean it in the same way as if a crowd is running by, and your impulse is to start running too.

Find something to inspire you. It could be anything from family, friends, a person you like, religion, nature or anything. Sometimes it takes time to find what inspires you. Just take a break, and go for a walk. It'll come to you.
