why does it seem like single men who live alone live like pigs?

I am referring to young single guys.

They have been used to their Mother's cleaning up for them, and living alone, they tend not to bother about tidying up.
I read some where, that visitors to our homes, keeps us honest in the cleanng up deparment.
We all can live with a certain mess in our homes, but would be or should be embarrassed to have someone else see that mess.
So when we have someone coming over, we do the cleaning up that should have been done, for our own sake. But never did.
But some people are born slobs, men and women, and there isn't much we can do about them.
Some are neat freaks, and I don't think anyone knows why that is so. But it is a fact of life.

Taken men who live alone live like pigs as well. I personally excuse it by saying i like to have all my stuff where i can see it... I also live in a dorm room so its kind of hard to fit all my stuff where it will look neat and tidy. A lot of women live like pigs, and a lot of men are neat and clean, men tend to be messier than women for any number of reasons. If the mess bothers you, clean it up.

Are you talking to me?I am now single ,live alone and my house is CLEAN .I was married and towards the end of it ,I was doing all the cooking ,washing ,dishes ,cleaning and worked 56 hours a week.So you may need to rephrase your question towards young single men ,whose Mommies don`t clean up after them anymore.

cuz most guys need a reason to clean up... been there done that. keeping a clean place never used to be very high on my list of things to do. I'd sooner party and have fun....

NOPE.. DUN THINK SO.. MY HUSBAND IS A NEAT FREAK.. HAHAHAH I LIKE TO MESS UP HIS PLACE B4 WE MARRIED :)
