where is the time for you ,to take a nice hot bath ,to wash your hair to read a book to have some rest ,to have a conversation with your family,
is there 24 hours a day enough for you

a relationship is 50 / 50. there is no way i can do all those things and have time for me i will go crazy. my relationship is equal , if he needs time guess what i need time too. if he needs help i do too. no one can do it all. no one can live a happy life if you are doing all the work.you both have to share the work and have more time for each other and relax time. everyone has to pitch in . it is a family not a mom onloy job. thats the way we run it in my family.good luck.

Alright all you complainers.... I am a single mom, work 8-6 plus on call 24 hours for employee problems, am a volunteer firefighter/emt, and most of all a full time mom. I don't have any problem with hours in my day. I just do what I have to do.
I don't have a husband anymore, but when I did he did not help around the house any and I always had dinner ready and the house clean. It is all a matter of time management.
You just get used to it and I enjoy everything I do. The only thing I have not had time to do is find another man.... Oh, well can't have everything, but my life is very fulfilling as is...

This is why I'm a firm believer that every family needs a maid. But since most of us can't afford it, it's time to share the load. It's not true any more that it's all woman's work. With a chart and cooperation you can share the chores with the whole family and still have some time left for you. You just have to remember not to feel guilty about it. Your actually doing a good thing for the next generations. It'll get better.

well in the mornings you do prep on dinner before work you say get the roast or chicken ready and leave it in the fridge or get a cookbook on crock pot recipes,and after work dinners prep ed then everyone can pitch in with house chores kids can unload and load dishwashers take out garbage ,vacuum, that will leave the deep down cleaning for you as far as family time it should always be mandatory EVERYONE eats at the table together.read your book 15-30 min. a night before bed,and once things are routine like that you find you are happier and less stressed. also men should help when you work period outside the home a man has NO reason not to help.

My husband shares in this and then I have time for a nice hot bath and time to relax. He is great! Also I only work 16 hours a week.

Please tell me that you're not doing all that major cleaning on a daily basis. Do nothing on Sundays. That's the day you relax. Do all your major chores, wash clothes etc. on Saturday morning. If you have kids, make them help you. They should have chores anyways. Straighten up as you go. Such as, if you're picking out your clothes, don't just leave them out. Put them up. Do love coupons. That's an incentive for your husband to do some chores too. That help for me. Mine wouldn't do anything until I started giving him coupons.

Guess what? You have your husband help! Unless he's a Mr. Mom, then HE better run the household until he's working again! I mean really, who said that women have to do it all? What makes men think we're less than them when we do more than them on any given day? Hello? Are you that primitive? Make him lift a hairy finger for heaven's sake!

I wish I only worked from 8 to 4!! Personal time does get sacrificed but it's worth it in the end. You find the time for what's truly important to you.

Well let me tell you, Have your husband leave you, have your kids grow up and go away to college and then get a job out of the home to support yourself, have NO friends then come back and tell me which you like better?
