If in fact it was done for evil reasons (out of jealously, or meanness) and completley unfounded, file a civil suit in small claims to recover any expenses incured and if the kids were actually taken away you can smoke her for pain and suffering! The max pay for small claims is $5,000. So if they took the kids and later found there was no cause go for the max!!!
Two reason why to do this. First, she will learn to shut her mouth and realize her actions can cause people to suffer including her. Second, it will be noted in court papers that she is a lying Biotch and she will never be able to make anothe false report to CPS. They will assume she is a habitual liar and will not rely on her word to start an investigation.
Go for it. I am all for mean-spirited people getting it stuck to them for a change!

Taking out a criminal warrant against that person for filing a false report is always an option, if you can prove that was absolutely nothing you did that would make the other person suspect that you were mistreating your children.

You might consider leaving that person alone, since it seems like they might be able to cause you all kinds of problems by simply making allegations against you. You fail to mention if you have the resources to mount a legal challenge to their allegations, then you may consider suing for slander or libel. Good luck.

if i found out who it was i would do nothing, child protective services can't do nothing to you unless it's founded. and revenge against the on who fileld the said report isn't the answer

I guess confront them and ask why they called child services on you. Then I would just ask them to come to you first if they think there is a problem.

I would confront them and find out why they did that and why they thought if I was doing something wrong they could come to me and talk to me about it first.

i would thank them for caring enough about my children that they did what they thought was best. then i would let them know their concerns are unfounded. but i would not be angry in the least, unless it was true.
