It says on my hairdye box that if you have a tattoo your chance of a allergic reaction may increase. Does anyone know why?

Skin has been broken open in that area it is a precaution for them in case tattoo hasn't healed all the way.

What brand is the dye? Tah's what you forgot to put in. It's possible it couls be the chemicals in the dye that may react to the ink used in the tattoo. I believe it's just a precaution to not get hair dye on the tattoo it slef I am not really sure.. but I would definately list the ingrediants and brand of hair dye on here..

Ink may react badly to the dye.
Depends on what's in the dye. Look at the ingredientsfor something suspisious.
