I don't go to the pub much now. But when I was in my teens and at home with my mum and dad.
Every night when I got in from the pub I used to soft boil six eggs, butter ( real butter ) seven slices of bread. And when I'd had that I used to get one of mums cooking bowls, fill it with cornflakes, pour a pint of milk in and sprinkle sugar on, and then wolf them down.
I used to be a hod carrier then ( americans probably won't know what that is ), and I never had an ounce of fat on me.
However, now at age 50 I have several ounces on me!
