i don't know but i did once date a guy who didn't care if he got kicked in the balls. i wouldn't say he liked it, it's just that it didn't for some reason hurt him. i of course didn't believe him so i tried it and kicked as hard as i could. he didn't even flinch. i think there was something wrong with that boy.

It's a fetish and a means of stimulation for him. Each fetishist or even masochist has their limits. He (and the guy I'm about to tell you about) have particularly high thresholds of pain.

Yes to each his own. To some it makes no sense but to him it makes perfect sense. Yes it is a form of masochism, which does nothing for me, but apparently is very prevalent in some circles, which would explain why BDSM is so popular.
