Make your own, index cards and markers. Besides why do you need flashcards for a 2 year old.

THe world is a flash card. Let the 2 year old see the world as part of a learning. Letters and numbers, words, colors and shapes are all over the place. Look at the stop sign, what letters, what colors, what shape, how many sides, what other words begin with the S sound, what words rhyme with STOP, oh hop, can you hop, on the right foot, then the left foot.

All of these learning opportunities in one sign. Forget the flashcards.

There's a perfect little website that I learned about in my first year of teaching.

You can get flashcards, stories, and an excellent activity for the letters of the alphabet. It's very interactive and can be used for children ranging in the ages of 18 mos - middle high.

It's great that you are looking for ways to help your child.

There are also things that you can print out for absolutely free. You don't always have to pay for your child's needs.

My niece is two a million/2 and is familiar with all her abc's and numbers as a lot as twenty in english and 10 in spanish. the way that we worked consisting of her replaced into standard top till now nap time, i'd sit down consisting of her in a chair and sing the abcs and then commence counting also. She quickly would catch on and sing alongside. She is so used to it that we could do both one in each of them a minimum of once an afternoon now. She also has a huge number of the leap frog toys which only about all sing the alphabet and/or say numbers. She has picked up lots off of those toys. leap frog also makes some video clips and one in each of them is about the letter production unit. that's a very sturdy movie because it is going by skill of the alphabet and teaches the sound of each letter with distinct songs. We watch this movie lots the following by way of the indisputable fact that's amazingly colourful and easy for a 2 three hundred and sixty 5 days previous to keep their concentration on. also toddler Einstein makes a huge number of video clips and issues that bypass over shapes and colorings. i imagine they do letters and numbers to yet i'm no longer effective on that one.

You can make your own flashcards using construction paper & some markers. There are also a lot of educational sites on-line that will allow users to download free flashcards. You will just have to print & cut them out!

Dollar General have a series of cards like that. Not free, but their only a buck each.

You can make them yourself. It's great because you can make it anything you want. You can do letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc. It's a great game for the kids and they're learning as well. You can't beat that.
