Cavity searches should never be allowed unless a person is already incarcerated for a crime. To allow a cavity search in a public food or retail establishment is a violation of privacy and all Americans are afforded some right to privacy. To allow this sets these establishments up for numerous and possibly even class-action lawsuits in a society where everyone is sue-happy. The judicial system is already overloaded with frivolous lawsuits, don't set it up to have to take on more.

No, the idea is disgusting, nothing in a food establishment would justify the need for a cavity search.

What the...?! Where did you come up with this? If someone in a food establishment is secreting food in placs where we need to use cavity searches, I for one, do not want it back! And don't you even think of placing it back on the salad bar!
