Trim is allways the last thing to install. The entire purpose of trim is to cover up any imperfections in the flooring or in the walls where they meet. If it was perfect when finished there would be no need for trim except for decoration. Tip finish all your trim prior to installation, that way you dont have to tape everything off and you can just touchup the nail holes.

My husband and I tiled first then did the trim. We did so much tiling in our home i don't even want to look at mortar or grout for a long time.

normally if the tile setter does a proper job using tiles with bullnosed edges, etc. trim is not required. However, if trim is desired it would be installed after the tile installation.

Definitely do the tiles first. You don't want to get grout all over your nice trim.
