I am trying to print a document from Word. I inserted a couple of files as icons. When I print this document, I want it to also print the contents of the files I inserted as icons. However, when I go to print, I do not see an option to have it do this. Help. thanks.

Copy the contents of the files you inserted into the document directly into the body of the document (so they are no longer icons). This may be done best by inserting the contents into a table that was manually prepared earlier. Open the icon file, highlight the contents, copy, then paste into the table. remove the icon file, keeping for your records incase something goes wrong with this experiment, and save the adjusted document under a new name (maintaining all the pieces of the puzzle you had before you started to put it together. You do not need to print the document to see what it looks like printed, just click print preview, and it will show an exact digital representation of it's appearance as if it were printed.
