If your looking for some bone skinny model type I would not cheer you on but I am sure that somewhere in Janesville Wisconsin there is a 40 something woman looking for a guy that is exactly like you. And yes some people are turned off by fat people but some people are turned off by skinny one's too.

Well, I have to be honest. You don't want to start off telling someone, your fat and 49. So start with, I'm trying to lose weight and if asked you should then tell them. Again, the 49 could be a problem since most 49 year olds don't daye much. You could say 38 trapped in a 49 year old overweight body

My God... WHO GIVES A SQUIRREL'S BEHIND ABOUT WEIGHT IN THE LOVING AND CARING RELATIONSHIP?! For the love of God people... any colder and North Pole will seem like Africa! And since when everyone starts assuming that if the person is older than 30-years-old and overweight, that the person will stop either trying to find someone to spend the rest of their lives with, or worst of all don't "deserve" a second chance because of their own either physical or mental problems and the person is not trying his/her best to improve their life and lifestyle?! Everyone deserves to have a chance on happy, rich, and fullfilling life no matter who they are or how different they look from "the rest of the population."
I love Wisconsin! :) It's very a beautiful and wonderful place to live in! My Husband is from there :)
To be honest with you, if you love and care for the person with all of your heart and soul, nothing else should even matter. Even if the person is weighing 1,000lbs you can give them a reason and a chance to come back to the healthy stages of their lives for only one reason--they have you! Anyone can loose weight and become a super-model once given a chance and time to do so, and with loving, caring, supportive, and gentle attitude from you, the overweight (NOT "fat") person will able to achieve so many things including a chance for happiness that they never had before. Plus to this, they'll be even happier since they have you in their lives, and no one else but you.
To be honest with you, I personally do not care about that for one simple reason--it can be changed any time once the other person is given a chance and once you show them how much you trully care for who they are.
Once you find the right woman, you'll see that not many of them care about the "being overweight" factor... she'll love you with all heart and with her heart, she'll be able to see the best qualities that you have and how trully wonderful you are on the inside. With her as your partner, you won't have to worry about anything at all, except for how to make each other happy and what to do on the beautiful day :)
Psst :) ... Did you know that overweight people tend to loose weight a lot faster (than anyone realizes) once they've found someone who can show them how beautiful the life can trully be? Once you're happy being with your partner, your body automatically reverses hormones and the feeling of never being full, that way causing rapid weight loss. Whatever weight you have, please don't worry about it. Just make sure you'll stay healthy and if you'd like you can loose weight, but everything will be alright :) Just be honest with the people you meet. Being your wonderful, warm, loving and sweet self means a lot more than being cold, hard and cruel.

I am 43 and fat. I have found many people to date. The people that are turned off by "fat" people don't have a clue. They are stereo typing and shouldn't be worth your time or effort. Never forget who you are. You can change physically, but do it because you want it, not the one you are dating.

I was married to a heavy person. I would not marry or date another unless they lost weight. Reason being - it interfers with SEX!
