you need to establish your dominance. there are a number of books on the subject, but it sounds like right now you are not the alpha dog so she acts however she wants to act.

What kind of dog and how old?
A dog that is nipping and jumping and out of control has some serious behavior problems. You may or may not be able to train her. Don't know where you found your "private trainer", but you need an evaluation from an EXPERIENCED professional trainer - get a recommendation from a local vet. Many people calling themselves "master trainers" have no more experience than you do dealing with a dog like this. Avoid pet shops that have training classes - anyone who is any good has their own business and doesn't need to advertise. You'll waste a LOT of money on a dog that isn't worth it. Bad temperament cannot be "cured" but behavior can usually be improved.
I'd also suggest reading some really good books on training. Try not to do it randomly - there are a lot of bad books out there also! These are some of my favorites and you can get them on Amazon.com
Dog Problems - Benjamin
Training Your Dog: The Step by Step Method - Volhard
What All Good Dogs Should Know - Volhard
Good Owners, Great Dogs - Brian Kilcommins
Don't Shoot the Dog - Pryor
Cesar's Way - Cesar Millan
Also, watch the Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic Channel. Cesar Millan is the best trainer I've ever seen on TV.

Good reply from dog_trainer.
I also think Cesar Milan is doing a great service to the dog owning public and mostly agree with his methods.
There are many people out there calling themselves trainers who have no business teaching anyone how to train a dog. However, not all good trainers own (or want to own) their own business. I know some very talented trainers who volunteer. Oftentimes, good trainers will have a following.
As far as advertising, I think it is a good trainers responsability to make themselves as available to the public as possible, which to me includes advertising.

sounds like your dog has serious problems, why is she in doggy day care, did you consider the fact that she may hate it there that is why she is acting like that. Start trying to impliment more dicipline, before you enter your house, ask her to sit and stay, then open the door, enter then make her sit and stay again till you say ok, do it outside while on walks too, rather reward her with petting than treats. When she bites, say ouch loudly and put your finger to her nose and say no! this makes them more aware of their behaviour. good luck.

If the dog is drawing blood then force it to smell your blood so it knows it has injured you. When it jumps on you it could really hurt you if you are unprepared for it, you need to make it stop. One trainer told me that when it jumps like that to sweep its legs out from under it with your foot so that it falls over. Grab the dog once its on the ground and force it onto its back holding its legs to its chest and sternly say no and wait until it calms down to let it up. Do this every time it jumps, its even better with some dogs to have a male that lives with it to do this for some reason. My dog used to push me down when I would let her inside, she weighs 100, I weigh 130. She hit me one time and I fell so hard I chipped part of a tendon in my knee on the hardwood floor. Since she is almost my size she thought she could take me one and get the upper hand when she wanted. Once I moved in with my bf that all stopped, he could grab he scruff (top of neck) and lay her on her side with one hand. She is petrified of him when he scolds her, but it has taught her respect and she hasn't done it since. About the biting, try to hold her on her back like above. If that doesn't help you may need a shock collar, it sounds like a good candidate for one.

Well first you should get her a muzzle and try not to give her any treats!
You shouldn't spoil her if you do because your dog will only get worse!
You should lock her up but not something she could claw up or chew up!
And then your dog might start to realize how bad its been and will start behaving a little better!

Change your command words to order, Do no use the commands with violence. Speak to her calm and softly and at the same time look to her eyes while you are giving the order.
