Red Or Brown, Maybe? If You're having it done professionally, talk to the hairdresser about it and try looking some samples against your haircolor...This will help alot.

I also have balck hair and highlights. Personally, if this is your first time and you are unsure of how it may turn out, I reccommend going for medium shades of brown, but if you are daring then try light brown (with or without a tint of red) to dark shades of blond highlights. I have light brown highlights and they have stayed for couple months, so choose wisely!

I think any color goes great with black hair. Even white/platinum blonde streaks look good to me, but some people might think yer a skunk lol. Reds and blue tints look good on very black hair.

brown, red or pink? I once noticed a cashier at Rite Aide in SF, whose hair was high lighted wtih those 2 colors, plus a little purple. Or you could try silver and black.
