Probably not...otherwise, people wouldn't have came up with the water pik invention...

Just my opinion.

If your doctor said/reccomended you to use the water pik, than no, it's not the same.

If you just use the water pik to get them cleaner you don't nessesarily need the pik. Just brush, floss, and mouth wash, and your teeth will be perfect.
