Spam! Mom used to mix brown sugar with prepared mustard[yep, the yellow kind in the yellow plastic container]. Put the Spam in a baking dish and put the mustard/sugar on top. Bake until heated through. I don't remember what she served it with, probably potatoes fried in bacon grease, but Tator Tots would be my choice. Poor Mom, she probable never saw the inside of a trailor, but she knew the cuisine!

Frito pie is easy and a favorite in TX.

Put a bag of Fritos in a baking dish. Top with canned chili. Top that with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.

my husband says mac n cheese (generic of course) is trailer trash food... also ravioli and spaghettios...

and also- scrambled pancakes
you make pancake batter and mix in bread and eggs, thick enough like pancake batter. melt some butter in a skillet and pour in your concoction... stir over med-high heat until cooked thru. serve with cinnamon and syrup

my personal favorite is a twinkie lush

1 box of twinkies
1 jar of strawberry preserves
1 box cream cheese
1 cup cool whip

mix softened cream cheese and thawed cool whip together. tear all twinkies in half and layer into large glass bowl with strawberry preserves and cool whip mixture as in a parfait. chill in fridge and serve cold.

how much more trailer trash can u get?!?!

susan

ps- the bisquick fried chicken recipe is on the box

A good cook out never hurt the trailering community! Anything BBQ goes over well in the campgrounds so ribs, chicken and steak are probably your best options. But unfortunately I can't cook well at all so I don't have any recipes.

I make a thing called pizza hot dogs, I buy a pizza mix, a pack of hot dogs, I cut the hot dogs in three, wrap each piece like pigs in a blanket. Place in a baking dish, pour the pizza sauce on it and then cheese. Bake about 20min on 375. My friends love it. Hope you enjoy.
