Like Redglory, I recommend the book, "The Bible Code"

The Code is not something to predict with.
It COULD be used to show God's Knowledge and Power.

A good question !
If you would like to read 1 Kor 2 : verses 10 to 16 it might shed some light on your question.
I think it tells us exactly how we should understand the bible.
Not too people share my view though,
I understand the bible to be a spiritual book.

There's actually a book called that "The Bible Code". (I've read it)...

Basically, it suggests that certain things within the Bible (terminology, letter sequences, numbers, etc...) all fit together to form messages, significant names in History, etc...

I can't remember one in particular to give you an example...but I do remember one letter sequence they followed spelled out Hitler, and Sadam Hussein...but hey, who knows?!?

Personally, I wouldn't want to predict the future --- I'd rather trust in God, and leave that with him.

"Ignorance is Bliss" LOL.

Make an anagram of every 7th letter from Genesis to Revelations and you'll get the scripts for the whole first season of Seinfeld.

Wait until an event happens then find the message about it hidden in the bible.

No, but its great if you want to twist it around to say something from the past. Same thing with Nostradamus. It's intruiging and appeals to our human desire to know more than we really do, but its just silliness.
