Arc of the Covenant, supposed to have been lost during the siege of Jerusalem. The Ark of Noah, is a ship on top of Mount Ararat in Turkey.
FYI the Ark of the Covenant was going to be recovered from the tunnels of Jerusalem when the first Intifada started.

By the way, an Ark is a transport container, floating or otherwise.
We just don't use that word in English anymore, which is why there might be some confusion.

Don't forget the one Moses was placed in as a baby. Exo 2:3
3 And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.

You are correct, but the meaning of the two arks is different, so perhaps they were different terms that got translated in a similar way.
