could be a potassium deficiency, I have problems with my legs so I try to eat at least a banana a day if I have them or take supplements and it really helps

Two most common reasons for leg pain is either a spinal problem or blockages in the arteries feeding the legs. Doc advised me initial questions to be asked are:
1. Does pain begin while walking and relieved if sitting?
If yes then further testing should be done for blocked arteries (an easy test is to measure left leg BP to left arm BP and right leg BP to right arm. The leg BP should be within .9 of the arm. Anything less indicates poor circulation in the leg also known as peripherial artery disease or PAD. A vascular Dr can run more extensive BP tests and do doppler studies of the blood flow in your legs (all these tests are noninvasive). If further studies are indicated you could have an angiograph done (a catheter is inserted into the artery at your groin and dye is injected into the bloodstream. X-rays are then taken realtime and any blockages in the arteries can be seen on a screen (and yes you should be able to see the x-rays also)).
2. If the pain occurs when walking but is not relieved by sitting down and resting the legs then the odds are there is a spinal problem (slipped disc, pinched nerve, etc.) Generally a quick exam in your family doctors office can indicate any problems (pain upon touching areas in your back, pain lifting legs in sitting or laying position etc.) If this appears to be the problem you would most likely be referred to an orthopedist or sometimes a neurologist for further testing (CAT scan, MRI/MRA, etc.)

Poor circulation is the problem. Take 1/2 aspirin every day, for the rest of your life. Dr.JUNK

are you overweight? are you getting enough exercise? Have you checked your blood pressure. all these factors need to be addressed before anyone can answer that question.
