You don't need any shots!!! I travel there all the time and it is fine - especially if you are going on a standard tourist vacation. Most thai people there don't get shots either. It is like going anywhere (Hong Kong, Tokyo, France, Australia...). I have never heard of anyone getting an exotic disease in Thailand. Have fun.

If you are going to be in the main cities like Bangkok or Chiangmai, you do not need any shots at all. The only thing is maybe a flu shot for the ongoing bird-flu scare. Otherwise you will be ok. Been there pretty frequesntly and do not need these.
If you must, then shots for typhoid, tetanus and diptheria are the norms. And anti-malaria pills. You can get them while in Thailand too.

Just had the first round. You need:
Hep A
Hep B
Tetnus (SP?)
Malaria
Typhoid
Plan ahead - you need to have the first 2 hep shots 1 month apart. Look at the CDC website for more info. There are 2 others that I forget, but the CDC says that you don't need them unless you are going to a rural area.
Get the shots, but don't panic if you don't have time. I've been several times and this is the first time I've bothered to get the shots. Didn't get sick at all - use your head over there! It can be heaven or hell!!!

You want to be safe? - Ask your doc - - and do what he says or the govt has postings as to what is recommended.. I am from USA - I have been coming here for many years - I live here now - I don't get any shots.. I do not know of anyone who has contracted anything weird - hey, but if it helps you sleep well at night - I'm all for it.. - - it's a great country - enjoy your visit

If you don't expect to be traveling to the deep south you shouldn't need any shots. Stay away from live poultry. If you do get sick then Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok is one of the best in the world.

you pick to work out a go back and forth physician, it really is more effective good than the valid web pages. you actually pick some variety of preventative remedy antagonistic to malaria, particularly in case you're getting into the course of the summer season.

most clinics should do it. Hep A, Typhoid, Update your tetanus if it needs to be (every 10 years). I'm not sure but maybe yellow fever as well. They usually range from $50-70 each
