I know how you feel about Bossies. I raise them myself and have three that live with me for always. Please do not look for a "cheap" puppy. You are bound to find yourself dealing with a no-brain breeder who is throwing dogs together just to get puppies. The puppy will most likely have genetic problems as well as a host of other ugly issues. The people who actually put work into their breeding program are the ones who have to charge money for the puppies. I have to charge for mine because I take the mother in for a string of appointments before, during, and after her pregnancy to make sure she is healthy. I also have to invest a lot of time and money in the 8 weeks I spend with the little babies. Then, I have to pay for up to 6 puppies to have total health exams. That gets expensive, mate. All of this, I do to make sure that the people who take my puppies home have a happy, healthy life-companion, not a sick little heart-breaker.

If you are looking for a less-expensive Bossie, go the other route and search petfinder.com for a shelter near you. You can search for Bossies that need homes near you. You stil have to pay the adoption fee and the medical costs, if any, but that is also to make sure that you are taking home a healthy dog.

Good luck to you, and I hope you find exactly who you are looking for. For our last Bossie, we drove three states away and back in two days. She is SO worth it.
