They are both memory hogs. I use a free one called AVG free, it can be set to update virus automatecly at a time you chose it also scan your E-Mail both coming & going give it a try.

Norton if I had to chose between the two, McAfee just installs too much junk that isn't necessary and is hard to remove if switching anti-virus software. If I had to choose outside of the two, I use Avast! 4.7 Professional and it's great, never had a virus or problem of any kind.

none of them, avg or nod32 are arguablly the best antivirus programs out there

neither! get avg free it works circles around both.can go to pcworld.com and get it.
