Cirque techno shows are like...comedy acts. They are simply parodying the real acts in each show.
It's the tech crew making fun of the show pretty much. The regular artists are the audience.

I am including the link to the cirque website in hopes of having the show name identified. I am a big fan and try to see every show that comes to the area and those I miss I get the DVD from the library (free). Obviously all show don't travel and they are branching to to shows that are more music and less circus.

I haven't seen Cirque du Soleil in action, but I heard their show in Vegas, Zumanity, is quite...well, interesting..
