It would help your point if you read the passages closely, and in context.
First, the Ephesians passage does not say "You are slaves of Christ, so do the will of God from your heart." Paul is addressing real slaves, telling them to serve their masters AS IF they were slaves serving Christ, because God will reward everyone for the good they have done.
Second, the passage in John is Jesus talking to his followers, and refers to his Father (God), differentiating himself from God the Father and calling his disciples friends, because he has shared with them what God the Father has made known to him. It is important to note the difference between JESUS saying "I no longer call you servants" and GOD THE FATHER saying that. Elsewhere in the Bible (Romans 6), it still says that believers are slaves to God rather than slaves to sin.
So next time you try to make a point calling people stupid for their beliefs, it might be a good idea to do some research yourself first.

The Holy Scriptures
These are the Old and New Testaments; they were written by holy men, inspired by the Holy Spirit,(1) and are God's revealed word to man.
(1) 2 peter 1:18-21: And this vi\oice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
2 Timothy 3:16,17: All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
They are a sufficient and infallible rule and guide to salvation and all Christian worship and service.(2)
(2) Exodus 4:15, Psalms 32:8, Hebrews 1:1, 2,.
Since the Bible is the Word of God, it is without error in all matters upon which it speaks, whether history, geography, matters relating to service or any other subject.(3)
(3) 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Cor. 2:13; 2 Sam. 23:2; Jr.1:9; John10:35; Matt. 5:17, 18.

You speak from ignorance. Paul does such an incredible job of breaking down the teachings and life of Christ that this alone justifies the belief that he was led by Gods Holy Spirit. Only one who has never studied Gods word in the Spirit would doubt Paul's teachings, or a Muslim.
This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm

Some people don't understand the bible and you may never if you never ask god to help you understand. quit believing what people say and read the bible yoyourself.I know that may not answer your question but if you believe in god than you have to believe in the bible and except it. And if you don't believe in god than you have a BIG problem,Why wait until u die to find out that there is a hell, because than it's to late and you can't change ur believe than. I you don't understand than don't disrespect God,because u have a choice and he lets u make up your own mind. But get down on your knees and ask him for forgiveness and believe upon him and tomorrow if you still feel the same way . than you didn't really truly mean it.The devil believes in him but do u thank he is going to heaven? God Is the one the only. Ill pray for you tonight. Don't disrespect my father.

he is saying we are called to be friends of Christ as well as servants to Him.
the Bible is the infallible, God-inspired words of God and if you don't believe that, why are you wasting your time?
we can all twist anything to mean anything we want if we try hard enough, but you can not make the words any less powerful.
the fact is, Christ is asking us to be servants and friends to Him and the people around us. that is incrediblly more powerful than anything a mere human mind could come up with.

I respect only the voice of Jesus as the Word of God.
The letters of Paul are the opinions of Paul, not the word of God.
The Revelation is John telling a story to help early Christians with faith, not the word of God.
Some people are foolish to believe that when we read the Bible it is God talking to us. Usually though, it's John talking to the early Christians, Famous ancient stories, or Paul writing to early Churches.

Paul was not teaching that we are to become servants. Instead, when you put the verse back in full context, you find out he was speaking to people who were slaves to other people with or against their will, or to people who chose to serve others. He was telling them to do their job to the best of their ability.

In these two particular passages you have chosen Paul was writing to the different churches. He was not referring to making ourselves like CHRIST but chastizing them for doing so.
The different churches were puffed up and proud. If you read the whole letter you would see he is warning them against that behaviour. HE is encouraging them to be humble and doing things out of LOVE- not puffed up and arrogant where they could boast about their accomplishments.
Paul is hard to read becase you have to study him to get the true meaning of what all he is saying.
Truly ask GOD to reveal His truth to you and then re-read all you think is a contradiction. GOD will show what you need to know. I have no doubts that if you ask in earnest He will reveal Himself to you.
GOD BL:ESS.

If they took all the bibles and burned them today it would not change my trust in God and the gospel of Jesus the Christ. The bible is a book....it is not what saves a person.
