i thought this program was supposed to do it all & was easy??? help!!!!

Nero 6 burns avi's just perfectly. I suspect a pebkac error.
You can only fit slightly more 700mb onto a cd and 4.37 GB with on a dvd. If you are having problems you should have given the error message. If you just want to burn it as a standard AVI so that it can play on any computer the only problems you could have is that the AVI is too large or the disk you are using isn't in good condition. The writer could also be at fault.
Burning an AVI so that it works on a dvd player as a VCD or DVD requires that you download updates, if you don't already have Nero 6 Reloaded. To convert the AVI to DVD-VIDEO or VCD you need Nerovision Express.

The best option is to encode it to mpeg with nero then use ulead dvd creator to write the disk, or encode it to the dvd region and then use dvd shrink to burn it. Hope this helps

Nero is a funny bugger. you need it to be a mpeg file. I cant remeber what can convert it though, sorry!

hmm i reccommend getting a mac its so much easaier doing anything like that.
