thoughts of doing bad things or desires of the flesh are not evil in and of themselves, but dwelling on them or acting on them is a different story. "we are in the world, not of the world" you are authorised as a child of God to rebuke any ungodly thought. it may take more time with different thoughts, but perseverence is rewarded. memorize some scripture that will help when whatever desires arise. Switchfoot is an amazing band, alt rock genre, that just happens to be Christian. I am not a Christian and I listen to them often, the music is good and the message inspirational.
