Is fungus killed by laundry detergent ( like Tide ) ?

Nope. That's what bleach is for. If you are trying to get fungus out of your socks, BLEACH THEM.

I say yes. Tide with bleach works even better.

Yes. Fungus likes certain conditions: moisture, warmth and low light to darkness. Too much of anything -- light, heat, etc.-- can destroy it.

It should along with bleach and really hot water. (if your talking like dirty smelly socks)
