Is God an infinitely uncomprehendable entity, or the guy who lives in Pat Robertson's closet. If so, how can we be sure that the Bible is the only opinion of God? Can we? Can we be sure it's not?

I understand that the thing that people have called "God" doesn't exist and it is really a small portion of something so great that it is all encompassing. Knowing that it is all encompassing I know that I cannot comprehend it and no word can describe it. Therefore, any text about it is incorrect and makes it less than what it actually is. What it is is just meant to be observed and appreciated but never spoken about.

I don't know if anyone will ever completely understand God. I know that he gives me the understanding that I need for each day and that I trust Him with the rest. (Are you really sure that it is God in Pat Robertson's closet?) lol. As far as the Bible is concerned, it is the only testament of God. I wouldn't call it God's opinions but rather his instructions for life. In fact, I have often heard it explained that the Bible is: B - Basic, I - Instructions, B - Before, L - Leaving, E- Earth.
