Which is the lesser of 2 evils, sitting in our pee when it splashes upon the seat, or putting the stupid seat down yourself?

Women look above and beyond the toilet seat -- to the lid (which cancels out the option of her putting just the seat down herself). We normally buy the cleaning products, and use them. Spraying the air freshener, hiding the toilet brush, and concealing rarely used products in the cabinet ... We try to keep the area looking and smelling nice. Then men walk into a bathroom like it's some campsite or Johnny-on-the-job. It's a matter of respect. Lastly: Causing someone to fall into the toilet, peed on or not, isn't funny -- it's gross.

You can just lower the seat with your foot. You can't expect me to believe the bathroom is so dark that you do not see that the seat is up and fall in the toilet or sit on the rim. If this is the case, see an eye doctor or get a nightlight for the bathroom. This is really not a big deal.

I think both sexes should lower both the seat and the lid when they are finished taking care of business. I do not like the way the bathroom looks with either lid or seat open. Besides, it's dangerous if you have small children in the home. I also don't like my dog/cat to drink from the bowl.

Obviously the lesser of two evils is having to put the seat down yourself because it really seems to bother them when you don't. I don't care whether the damn seat is up or down...if I hit it I know how to wipe it...

ok, the following is food for idea: at the same time as the seat is left up through absolutely everyone and the bathroom flushed contained in the open position, all that waste aerosols into the air spreading that outstanding mess onto your hand towels, teeth brushes, hair brushes, ect. so that you wash your fingers and dry them on a towel that has in simple terms been contaminated with what you washed off of your fingers. adequate reason to close the bathroom thoroughly? Satisfies all in my homestead, adult males and females. "Seats down" (pun meant:, fingers down)

I look at it this way, they are the ones that put it up in the first place, so isn't it only the right thing to do for them to put it back down for everyone else? I think it's bad manners for them to leave it up & also not to wash there hands after even touching it.

Hope this helps.

I've never understood why guys HAVE to stand up to pee anyway. Is it just because we can? I mean I can pee just as well sitting down on the toilet. I don't know if most guys would admit that though hehehe!

It all started because they were mad that we didn't have to touch the seat to urinate. Of course if they have to touch the disgusting seat, why not put us at a disadvantage also... evil, vile creatures they are.
