Do you agree with all the other cultures coming to America illegally and not knowing how to speak english? By the way I don't mind them coming legally, but they definatly should be required to speak english if they come.

I do not agree with anyone coming to the US illegally and refusing to learn the language, no matter where they are from.

They should go through the legal process and learn English like my grandparents did.

I could care less. Not everyone here from day on of this worlds existence are real Americans. I believe that if illegally people are coming over here and making an honest living and not causing any trouble let them stay. Send back the ones that are killing (terrorist), raping and abusing the system. Society spends to much time causing problems that would not be a problem if they would just leave the situations alone.

Americans go to other country's and can't speak their languages. So whats the diff.

Absolutely they need to learn the language. If someone comes here (legally of course) and refuses to learn the language they will never get ahead and will always be in low paying jobs. They are then subjected to activists who tell them that their position in life is the result of racism and that they are victims. This causes all the kinds of problems that we are having right now. Also, it is arrogant. How dare you come to this country, take advantage of all it has to offer, and then slap everyone in the face by refusing to learn the language? If your country is so superior then don't come here. If you come here show some respect for the culture.

Absolutely they should speak english. No one is anti-immigrant, we are anti-illegal-immigrant. There is a HUGE difference. Plus, the key to succeeding in this country and achieving the American Dream (supposedly the whole reason people come here in the first place) is to learn english, work hard, and get ahead. Plus we waste too many of our precious resources on printing forms in multiple languages, teaching illegal kids english in school, and having bi-linguals on staff at all government buildings, hospitals, etc.

LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH. IF YOU FOLLOW THE PROPER CHANNELS TO IMMIGRATE TO THE USA YOU WILL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO LEARN.

LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH...especially if you've been here more than 6mos! Otherwise, go back to your own country! I'd never move to another country and expect people to speak to me solely in English.

I think that we do not need to cater to them. My grand mother is an immigrant from Italy and she had to learn the national anthem, read speak and comprehend english, learn the decloration of independence and fold the American flag before she could become legal.

i wouldn't say that they should learn english like a native learning a few words should ne enough, think about it that cost money which they don't have.

are you saying that every foreign european,asian,african country you visit you speak their language ? come on now that is a bit unfair , think about it european drove away native american from their land, and now speak english who are you to judge them.
