I recently bought Limewire pro and for some reason it crashes very frequently during downloads. Ive got 2 versions - one for my PC at home and I also run it on my Mac G4 laptop (OS x 10.3.9) and they both have the same problem. Any ideas?

I have never had Limewire Pro crash on me. One thing to check out would be if you are running a wireless router is to make sure the IP addys are the same on the PC and the Gaming port on the router tables every time that it is reset.
I know you have probably checked this out cause you would have seen that little brick wall come up in front of your world - but just thought I'd mention it in case. Other than that I don't know what would be causing your crashes.

hey there, tell you the truth it is a common problem that most face. limewire is a program that is built on java programing language and this is vary harsh on the PC that you use this causes it to crash, i have even had it lock up and freeze some computers before. there are many other that i will recommend such as ares lite and e-mule these are soft on the PC and does the job right.

WOW! Thats amazing. I've never heard of LimeWire crashing. Try unistalling and re-installing LimeWire.
