I've read them all. I think they are great mythology with similar and overlapping themes. They also have a lot in common with the spiritual beliefs and practices of religions that have come before them, such as Greek and Roman Polytheism, etc..

Taken together as a whole they paint a very clear picture of the evolution of of human philosophical thought and law over the centuries and different parts of the world.

I have read both the Bible and the Qu'ran, and both seem to have very political motives. Islam has only been around for 1400 years, Christianity for 2000. It is religions with fundamental instinctive backgrounds that are most likely to hold the key to the meaning of why we are here.

Yes, the bible. I grew up Catholic. I have always found it hard to believe, but did not find a voice against it until I was in my teenage years. I have read it, and find the morality contained within its stories to be very nice. But they are just that, stories.

I prefer Aesop's Fables. Quick and to the point without all the fire and brimstone.

I don't need to read the Bible, I get it quoted to me on this site.

Qur'an's alright...

Bible... not much interest to me, but I do know some things.

Torah... never read.

I don't know Hindhu books, or Buddhist books. I don't believe in deities, or in afterlife, but I enjoy learning more about other beliefs... so long as they are not shoved down my throat.

It's in myself I believe.
