If he was a God, how could be killed?

Jesus was a man, but at the same time He IS God. He was worshipped like a god because...well...He is God!

He was killed because He was in his physical form, which can be killed. However, He had the power to live, but did not use it because He loves us that much! It's so amazing. He wanted God's will to be fulfilled so our sins could be forgiven.

You should read the Bible sometime. I'll pray for you!

He was both. God the father came down in bodily form as Jesus to save mankind; his creation. He was killed because he allowed it. It was the only way to provide salvation. He did it out of love and that is why He is worshipped as God. There is no man on earth that would have given that kind of sacrifice out of love. Only the man Jesus who was divine because he was God's only begotten son could have accomplished this. Read John 1

The answer to this question is based on the truth that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate personages.
God the Father is the literal father of Jesus Christ. The Father is an immortal being. Jesus' earthly mother was Mary, who was a mortal. Jesus, thus inherited traits from both his parents: immortality from his father, and the ability to die from his earthly mother.
Jesus could have lived forever on this Earth, but in order to atone for our sins and institute the physical resurrection, he knew he had to die to complete the Infinite Sacrifice known as the Atonement.
Because Jesus had power over death, he could not be killed by any person. He literally and willingly gave up His life for us.
So, we worship Him as a god and are humbled that He would choose to relinquish His life for us so that we could partake of spiritual and physical salvation.
Without Him, we would be eternally unable to return to the presence of God the Father and His son, Jesus Christ.

While He was alive, He was a man. Supposedly, a "simple carpenter" with a spiel and an ability to heal sick people. Only after He died was He worshiped like a God. According to the Christian belief, He was born with the sole purpose of being killed in order to save mankind from sin. In answer to your question, He was a man - His Dad was the God.

IMO, he was a man. He is worshipped like a god because following a man does not have the same draw as following a god.

If god tells you to do something you will likely do it. When a man tells you to do something you will probably tell him to piss off.

Christianity wouldn't be as powerful as it is today if Jesus was just a man; it probably wouldn't event exist.

If he was a man, why is he worshiped like a God?
-people have been mislead?!

If he was a God, how could be killed?
- think about it; my God is eternal (meaning he was not born nor did He just "start existing"somewhen, nor will He perish one day, He is here and always will be, has not begotten nor was he begotten and there is nothing like Him.

Read your catechism. Jesus was both man and God. He had both natures in Him. Otherwise He would have not resurrected.
How many men do you know who came back to life after suffering all He suffered ?

A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):

(i) "My Father is greater than I."
[The Bible, John 14:28]

(ii) "My Father is greater than all."
[The Bible, John 10:29]

(iii) "…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…."
[The Bible, Mathew 12:28]

(iv) "…I with the finger of God cast out devils…."
[The Bible, Luke 11:20]

(v) "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
[The Bible, John 5:30]

I hope this helps us both to understand our faith more and more :) hope to hear from you soon
