As a veteran of the US Army I can assure everyone that God and religion are (or were when I was in) cast in a very negative light and anyone who promotes "Jesus" or "God" is considered a weirdo.

"Take it to the Chaplain" was considered a grave insult and indicated cowardice or weakness.

Here is a link to actual "last words" of pilots about to die in plane crashes. You should quickly see that God is not a primary topic:

Lets see, my mother and I argue over the idea of the 11th hour, that the lord gives people the chance to repent and accept him before they die. I think it sucks, but anyway, there have been die hard athiest, evolutionist, that on their death bed came right out and said they were wrong and God is real.

Kinda makes you wonder.

Not about to die - but did give him up for ten years.
Came back about a year ago!
Don't exactly know why.
But when I left I had very specific reasons!

It's sad till you wait for something like that to get you to call out on GOD. Like I did. So many year's wasted. Believing in Religion(actually, I didn't believe that much in Religion!!!!----- I didn't beieve in much of anything cept' having a good time!!!!) which can't save you. GOD is REALITY and CAN SAVE YOU.
JESUS SAVE's!!!!! Thanky-JESUS!!!!!!!!
