What, now I thought that you were an immortal being, the immortal can not get anything.
but your average blood drinker should definately make them get a blood test.

Yes, you will if the person is infected with the aids virus. I would definately make the person take a blood test before drinking their blood.

Yes, you can get aids from any human fluid with the exception of saliva, and even then you could get it but it takes something like 2 gallons.

Why would you want to drink someone's blood, and who would want to donate blood for you to drink?

Yes, you can. HIV is a blood borne pathogen.

Simply having your donor take a test won't insure you that they don't carry HIV - it can take time for the virus to show up on standard tests.

Absolutely.
We cut our mouths every day, without even realizing it, because our mouths are not nearly as sensetive as parts of the body like fingertips, and the AIDS virus can easily enter the body through those cuts.
For instance, earting popcorn/kernals causes hundreds of tiny lacerations to the gums and the roof of the mouth, and these lacerations provide the AIDS virus with a perfect route through which to enter the body.
Please, please, contact the "Center for Disease Control" and the "National AIDS Fund," about their research on HIV/AIDS transmission through blood drinking before taking any hasty action.

you could get any number of blood born diseases....who knows if your stomach or esophagus has a tiny scrape or ulcerated opening. it's a bad idea.....just because some natives drink cow blood for nourishment does not mean that it is a good practice.
may seem cool to do but you could just drink a bottle of V-8 juice and say you did it:)))

There is a possibility you could get HIV through cuts in your mouth from flossing, brushing too hard, a potato chip grazing your the palate. It's unlikely but possible.

HIV is actually a rather fragile virus. If it survives the saliva - which HIV is sometimes found, it will NOT survive the stomach acid.

However, it WILL turn your stool black and messy, you can get OTHER things from it, and it's nasty. If you have a blood-fetish, get help... you know what, get help anyway.
