The faithful don't believe without proof. They do not run out and buy every product they see advertised. They read Consumer Reports just like the rest of us. If I tried to sell a theist a "magic potion" that would turn him invisible, or told him that his wife was cheating on him, he would ask for proof.
We only extend our need for proof one step further. We don't see why proof is needed in every aspect of existence except one.

Atheists are nether cursed nor blessed ,to be so would require a belief in that which is doing the cursing.
in another format to devoutly believe in something you have no rational proof of could be classified as a form of mental illness.
If i believe that god -who I can't see - will do good things for me because i believe it to be and i pray to him/it , then some would say I'm devout
But if i apply the same criteria to the oak tree in my yard - which i can see - then some wouild say I'm crazy. Why ?
It's the old story - tell a lie long enough it will become the truth

Depends on how u look at it. Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Ghost is cursed . Otherwise they are just like any other sinner & can be savedif they choose to. Problem is that because of their disbelief in God some of them will end up blaspheming & then will be cursed. It really puzzles me how they can be so sure that there is not a God that they are willing 2 give up any chance of being saved. I mean, they cannot be that sure. Noone can be. So what is there 2 lose by simply asking the question "But suppose I am wrong?". If by some chance there isnt a God, they still loses nothing. But if there is, then they gain everything by asking that question.Their failure 2 understand this i guess is why everyone thinks that they are stupid..

The supposition isn't accurate. An atheist is simply someone who lives without a deity in their worldview. Atheism means simply, "without theism", or without a god. Not all atheists cut out the possibility of a god... some just don't live as if there is one, since they do not have evidence of one that satisfies them.
"Proof" is going to vary from person to person, too. But presuming you mean quantifiable proof that would satisy a researcher using the scientific method, and presuming the statement is true to begin with (as it undoubtedly is at least for some percentage of atheists), then one has to contend with your "curse" idea.
If there is no god, there's certainly no curse in coming to that realization. If there is a god, and the atheist doesn't recognize that god, then the "curse" is relative to the god. Is this the sort of god who would push all atheists to some hell of eternal fire? If so, then yeah, they're probably cursed. But if that's the type of god running the universe I'm happy not to kowtow to it anyway. Seems a bit far-fetched though, eh?

They are not cursed and the proof is there for them, they are just looking in all the wrong places. They refuse to believe the rest of us when we tell them exactly where the proof is. That is not a curse. That is pride.

questioning the divinity of Jesus isn't an same because the statement that there is not any God, it really is a commonplace atheist statement. there have been thousands and thousands of human beings who professed perception in a divinity, who did not profess a perception in Jesus as a divinity. An atheist is asking into question even if there's a divine beginning for the bible as an finished besides as any component of it or interpretation of any component of it. The question of what Jesus suggested or meant through what he suggested contained in the hot testomony is between the finer factors of Christian non secular argument. no human being is an atheist because of one particular passage of the bible. at the same time as an atheist charges passages from the bible, that is to not disprove divinity as an finished. that is to make more effective slender criticisms per what's contained in the bible, to say that some thing won't be able to be so, that some thing is objectionable, that there's a contradiction, that there's a synthetic revision etc. those are arguments made through atheists, yet they don't look foundation for figuring out to be an atheist.

Actually the word athiest means not thiest, which means not religious. Devout christians only invoke god when necessary. If a devout christian can't start his car, he doesn't wonder why god doesn't want his car to start, he checks to see if he's out of gas. For thousands of years monks studied all day, yet what contribution did any of them make? Did any of them make any discoveries, or advance civilization in any way? Being religious is a dead end proposition, you can't learn anything new because everything that is unknown is considered the province of god. In some cases, i.e. islam, being religious leads people to be very harmful.

Each atheist is cursed in a different way, but my experience is pretty standard. I shot a Gypsy girl a lecherous glance, and she wove a charm that she set around my soul. Once a month, I sprout long hair from the ends of my ears, my teeth slaver and my wolfish grin gets literal. For that one night, under the full moon, I ravage the countryside in search of theists. For only their indignant protests of faith can satisfy my thirst for argument. Only a bullet made from the True Cross could stop me, and even then only if shot from a gun forged from the belt buckle of Buddha, held by an angel with a serious grip.

That's why it's called faith... you believe things exist on based on faith and you get your proof. Certain things that happen once you believe that deepens that faith. All the atheists I've met chose not to believe. If it's a matter of just needing proof, check all the historical evidence available online and in books.
