Excuse me, but my Canadian igloo is very comfortable. Not chilly at all. Of course, you only have my word for it...

Oh, lighten up.

I live in Texas. No I don't have a herd of cattle. No I don't wear a big cowboy hat except sometimes when I go to the rodeo. No I don't have a thousand acre ranch. No I don't own or ride a horse

I do have big pine trees. I also have had an alligator in my yard. We grow rice here (more than all of Japan). Cotton is a major crop.

No it's not hot here all the time like it's not cold all the time in Canada.

Everybody can't know everything.

We have a plant here in Katy (near Houston) that makes igloos. Coolers and water jugs that is. Canada has an igloo manufacturing plant too. Did you know that?

Forgive us our ignorance.

Yes, Americans are taught Canadian history.

Too funny! Now... if you live in the northern Nunavut, NW Territories or Ukon Territory, you are as likely to live in an igloo as the residents of Northern Alaska.

No, I never thought Canadians lived in igloos, but when I was little I thought ALL people in Alaska did.

I live in Omaha Nebraska, and I've had people ask me how I can stand living somewhere with no indoor plumbing, and I've had people say I don't look like someone who lives on a farm, and I've had older people ask about jungles because of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom that was on TV in the 70s. Not shot in Nebraska, the insurance company just sponsored it.

It's amazing how ignorant people can be about their own country!!

I don't remember learning anything about Canada in school. I really don't think we are taught Canadian history.

Most people here don't even know there IS a country up there.
