It depends... If your cat has a habit of eating and then throwing up, it might be an idication of something serious. Possibly a psychiatric disorder like Bulemia that has a significant degree of physical dysfunction. It is identified by the aberrant eating patterns and the problems that occur relative to nutrition associated to low self image. If you notice this type of behavior becoming more frequent, you should seek professional help quickly. Or, it could just be a hairball.

You should ask if she's ok and offer her some water to rinse her mouth out with. Then apologize for trapping her highness in the bathroom where she has no way of opening the door; it shows a huge lack of foresight on your part. Then you should clean it up like the servant she thinks you are.

I wish when my cat threw up it was only in the bathroom. Mine does it wherever she pleases, the living room, the hallway, one time in my slippers, though one time she did throw up on the toilet seat. I thought that was kind of funny. My question is though: If she threw up in the bathroom and you have to knock; how did the cat close the door. That is pretty amazing.....

If you're in the northern hemisphere, it's shedding season. All that extra fur makes for more hairballs, which make for more upchucking of same. Brushing or combing out the excess fur can do a lot to reduce hairballs. I'm brushing our 2 cats every day lately.

You should give her a little privacy, shes probably a little embarrassed over the fact she drank to much toilet water and ate too much catnip or a bad mouse, you know how those wafe model cats are, always trying to look their best. LOL But seriously if she always vomits seek a vets attention.

definite, even if that is a youthful infant doing the knocking, or if that is a youthful infant interior who doesn't generally bypass into the bathroom through himself. Or if that is absolutely everyone who went into the bathroom having a genuine difficulty, and also you knew it became very serious. (existence threatening).

cats dont have privacy feelings so just go into the bathroom and move the cat where a place they can throw up...such as the kitchen becasue its easy to pick up. clean up the mess and dont make a big deal.

You should just open the door and clean it up. Cats don't understand the privacy issue.
