If we are with a group of friends and he rubs my back, or touches my arm when he is telling a story, but no one elses - what does that mean?
We do spend more time together than the others, but do his signs mean that I am a better friend to him than the others or does it mean more???

I wouldn't read anything into it at all. I think all it means is that he is more comfortable with you. And yes, maybe he does like you a little more then the others. Unless you are the other way & you want to read it that way.... Is he? Ask yourself these questions first. Then go from there. You will be pleasantly surprised with the answers. Look inside yourself first, always. It's the best place to look.

I would think that these signs mean he likes you more than a friend. He probably wants more, the only way you can find out is to ask him for sure.

If you aren't gay then I would defiantly confront him. Tell him not to be touching you!
If he gets offended then either he does like you, or he'll respect the fact that being touched makes you feel uncomfortable!
Besides people shouldn't touch other people without permission!

that really is creepy. rubbing a guys back when you two are straight is a gross thought that your friend would come onto you. if you aren't straight, i'd agree that he wants you.
