My family did not have much to do with me before Islam and really don't know. The only reason I keep in contact with them is because Islam tells us to keep ties with our kin. I try but they really don't care if I do or not. Sad really, but it is there loss.

So I would like to hear from non-Muslims who have Muslims in the family.

In our family there is one rule, we don't discuss religious beliefs and politics. If your happy with your choices and it is not against the law than basically "good for you". Out of respect to our loved ones we do learn what food is taboo and drinks are not allowed to be served and have alternative dishes available.

Discussion is of the past events and future plans but conversion talk is simple not allowed unless genuine interest is expressed and it's one on one.

Family philosophy is a simple thought that God by whatever name you use has given different paths for diverse people and those that don't pervert their practice all want peace. So act on that peace in a family gathering and all will be well.

I am a Muslim and have seen a lot of them.
Nowadays there are three brothers converted to Islam, they took another home to live Islamic life freely.

There are Muslims in my family but my family loves its members for who they are, not who they worship. Of course, I'm sure everyone is secretly praying for those who don't follow their faith to convert but don't we all want the ones we love to share in what we believe and love?

No, but we're non-Mormon, and have a Mormon in the family. We don't talk to that person too often--but when we do--we hear a lot of "normal things" we do are "wrong" as far as that person is concerned. It can be uncomfortable.
