no, you could tell if your children are ugly or not. you would love them the same, but you could tell if they are ugly.

Yes! This is definitely true and it makes a lot of sense, actually.
After carrying a child in your body for 9 months, it's already a part of you- a living, breathing, growing part of you. Then when a woman goes into labor - the BIG event-the LABOR of LOVE is quite a dramatic experience to say the very least!. And after all that work, seeing your baby and holding it in your hands for the very first time..that is truly a work of art that YOU helped create and that is beautiful beyond words!

I always thought so....I know I thought mine were the most beautiful babies ever. But then I got such a surprise one day. When I was growing up..I went through a really bad childhood. I was the biggest kid in most of my classes, I was kinda homely for a girl too. But I grew up and things changed.....but back to the point.....one day at my house...my boyfriend, who is now my husband asked my mother who was visiting me, if I was really as ugly as I told him I was growing up....her answer:
Well if she hadnt been my daughter.....I would have felt sorry for the parents.
...so I guess not all parents actually think their kids are the cutest afterall.

Doesn't every parent think their children are beautiful? I know I have a very beautiful daughter and three very handsome sons.

Depends on how you define beautiful. If you can only see everyone's outer beauty then you are missing so many great and beautiful people. And if you can only see the outer beauty in people then your opinion doesn't matter to the rest of us......

I have two grown children - I will say this:
When babies are born I have rarely seen a pretty one!
Their faces have gone through so much stress, how can they look good!
As for my children - I can see the truth, but I don't have to tell anyone!

Yes and I hate it when their kid is ugly and they talk about how beautiful it is! I try but I cannot tell someone their ugly baby is cute! And do you notice that most of the baby contest winners are the ugliest kids??

i think all 4 of my kids r beautiful. i have a 5 yr old that is mine and 3 stepkids. they r all beautiful.
