Well it either alerts your cat to trouble, or she thinks you're calling her. So cute.
My kitty used to stick his tongue out after I would! HE doesn't do it so much as he's a little older, but he would mimic my actions often when he was a kitten. Cats can be pretty quick. I have it on video.
:) Isn't nature amazing!

Ya know, I thought it was just mine. I had a male Balinese for 13 years who got "upset" everytime I sneezed. He'd come running and fuss at me, or be concerned. I now have a new "batch", and have a couple of Balinese again, and my 8-month old female Balinese sort of does that. She just runs up and "mews". But then again, she's my "worrier". If any of the other kitties cry about something, she goes running to them. Tooooo cute.
Okay, learned something new. The "sneezing" this is actually a "cat" thing. *LOL*
Thanks.

Most likely it is just something that she does that not many cats do. My cat sometimes just starts running through the house and attacks you for no reason, and she is 8 years old!!! I have always thought that was weird and that she was probably the only cat that done that. Also both of us might just have crazed pets!

Weird reaction, my cat runs away when I sneeze:)
maybe it sounds really appealing to your cat.. like a call of nature or something.

One of my cats sneezes back. It never fails. Its kinda funny because she sneezes realy hard and her entire body shakes and she falls over. But this is the same cat that chases her tail, so I stopped wondering about her quirky behaviours.

when I sneeze my kitty will look at me with wide eyes and then she runs into the bedroom and hides under the bed if I sneeze again.

My cat used to do that when my cell phone rang. She'd purr and run on me. Like the ring felt good to her or something. Weird creatures!

Mostly her ears go back, and she'll look at me and look very alarmed! If it's really loud then she will run out of the room hehe!
