Do you mean religions? The fact is that people of faith are much more well-adjusted, happy and confident than people without faith. So God is not for the gullible, but for the intelligent. It takes far more gullibility for me to believe that selfish man who is ultimately bent on self-destruction, is the highest form of life.

A con?----A con is considered a way of means by deception. Think about it, there are many different cultures that believe in different things but no one can MAKE you believe anything. People follow a religion because that's what they choose. If I were to tell you to follow me because I can get you into Heaven, then consider yourself conned.

Some are some aren't the ones that ask you to give money for charity are not. The ones that take money of mindless drones are defiantly a con. Most Churches and orginations that are legitimate try very hard to make money to give to the poor and needy not all are money grabbing wasters. so I say no.

NOT !!! satan ~ who by the way is just as real,however nowhere near as powerfull ,all-seeing ,caring ,loving ,awesome (the list goes on & on) as God Almighty is, ~ satan is the biggest con on the planet. Trying his best to con you out of a life of blessing,eternal life of peace & happiness, health & wealth beyond measure. satan will con you, if you let him, into eternal death in a litteral hell. He knows his fate and wants all the company he can get. Do you know your fate ? Choose this day whom you will serve ! God is real, & He wants to save you from a devil`s hell.Just begin to trust Him and confess your sin.The wages of sin is death,but the free gift of God is eternal life.The eternally powerfull shed blood of Jesus,the Lamb of God will cleanse you from all unrightousness & you will litteraly feel the weight of sin lift off of your shoulders.It felt like about a ton & a half for me,that`s how much sin I had.

I really enjoy writing this, it certainly makes sense:-
"Religion is to the weak minded what drugs are to the weak willed"
Lots of people need a form of succour (comfort)!
As for the 'con' bit you are correct of course, millions are being made from people that really need this comfort, but they don't care, they will be rewarded in heaven?? If thats not a con I don't know what is!
