It all depends on what you eat with the rice. Everything is bad for you if you have to much of it.

Food always affects people differently. If you have eaten it regularly for some time now and have had no weight problems or other health concerns, then it may be fine for you. I believe that rice is a great food. It is a crab, low fat and fills you up. I have heard that the plain white rice is the best for eating healthy. So stick to what you like if it is working for you and remember to eat a balanced diet somewhat. But rice can easily fit into that! :) It is not like a piece of pie or cake everyday, so do not worry so. I love rice too!

I think it is. I was brought up on rice and beans and they say that both of them are very good for you. PLUS the oldest woman in the world is Asian and when asked how she's lived so long she said by eating rice and living without worries. Even if it wasn't, who cares?! I eat stuff that's bad for me all the time, I do it because its good and it makes me happy! That's what its all about!

Yes, although it's very high in carbohydrates (I don't follow a high-protein diet, but for those who do rice wouldn't be a good staple food). Look at how healthy Asian people tend to be, and they eat a ton of rice. Brown rice is better for you, of course, because it has more fiber and nutrients, but I prefer Jasmine rice -- it's grown in Thailand, and it has a great flavor.

It's a starch, so there are a lot of carbs. Try brown rice. Also, stay away from the boxed stuff that comes with the seasoning packets. Those are high in sodium and some flavors add a lot of calories and fat.

Rice can be healthy if it is cooked properly.
White rice can be processed by bleaching it, so check the ingredients of the package.
The brown rice is supposed to be healthier for you but be careful about if you are allergic to wheat or brown rice.

Well, if rice didn't have some sort of nutritional value, people in Asia (i.e. Korea, Japan, China, etc) would starve (or rather would have starved) to death during the winters. Sure, rice is a starch, but it helps sustain the body during rough periods.

whilst it incorporates weight-reduction plan rice isn't constantly your pal. It incorporates carbs that your physique has a tendency to have a topic breaking down and finally ends up storing. Brown rice is plenty fit because of the fact whilst this is harvested the bran layer maintains to be whilst with white rice it does not which takes away a brilliant style of food. i do no longer probably think of that in case you opt to tone your abdomen that rice is a competent decision. choose for egg whites and meat products. upload some eco-friendly vegetables to interrupt issues up somewhat. increasing your protein intake will strengthen your muscle tissue and help burn the fat on the comparable time. Do aerobic to burn the fat you have and crunch away. I actual have a team of marvelous ab routines in case you wish. permit me understand. stable success!

Brown rice is healthier than white rice. Rice isn't bad for you but it's full of starch.
