I wouldn't ask her out directly- that is a fast way to end up in H.R. Instead I'd be sure to be at some kind of after work thing when you know she will be there - break the ice that way, buy her a drink etc. unless you already have the green light from her I'd circumvent asking directly particularly if she is NOT a manger...

That is a hard one, with the vast age difference. Are you in good shape and fairly good looking? If so then that might help with the age difference. My brother dates younger women and he simply starts by asking them if she would like to have a coffee after work some night. This leaves the door open for her to contemplate. It might not happen right away, but just keep being nice and she should say yes to a coffee one night, and thats your opening to futher dates.

just ask her out, but be nice, treat her well, then ask her out. but what is up with the 15 year distance in age? be careful, cause she might not like the age difference. I wish you the best of luck, though.
